STEAM Co-ordinator

About the role

We’re seeking a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Program Coordinator to join the expanding team at Yuvabe Education, dedicated to providing STEAM Programs to schools in Auroville and the Bio-region. We’re looking for someone with exceptional organizational skills and a profound passion for revolutionizing education. The ideal candidate will spearhead curriculum development, oversee lab setup and maintenance, and drive the creation of innovative programs aimed at delivering high-quality STEAM education to children and youth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and refine STEAM curriculum aligned with educational standards and program goals.
  • Integrate advanced teaching methods and technologies for enhanced learning experiences.
  • Lead the design and development of tailored STEAM programs for diverse age groups and learning levels.
  • Manage setup, organization, and maintenance of the STEAM lab for optimal learning environments.
  • Procure materials, maintain lab infrastructure, and collaborate with stakeholders and partners.
  • Guide Yuvabe’s youth leaders to implement cohesive STEAM programs across schools and communities.
  • Regularly assess program delivery, gather feedback, and enhance effectiveness.
  • Implement feedback-driven adjustments for consistent program enhancement.
  • Assist in organizing workshops and the annual STEAM Fest to promote STEAM education.
  • Maintain records, prepare reports, and document best practices for program development.

Minimum required experience

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Field
  • 1-2 Years Experience working with Children
  • Solid Understanding of Educational Pedagogy and best practices
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively
  • Keen Attention to Detail and Accuracy
  • Great organizational and coordination skills.

Preferred experience

  • Knowledge and experience in using online tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, etc for documentation and presentations.
  • Programming knowledge is a plus.

Location

  • This role will be located in our Auroville, India office. Approximately 10% travel is anticipated [globally/within India].
